1. What Will You Be Laminating?

Card/Photo Laminators

Laminator Mouth Width 4.5”
Laminates documents up to 4” wide such as business cards, IDs, luggage tags, index cards, bookmarks, and photos.

Document Laminators

Laminator Mouth Width 9.5”
Laminates documents up to 9” wide including business cards, IDs, luggage tags, index cards, photos, letters and documents.

Wide Format Laminators

Laminator Mouth Width 12” & Wider
Laminates wide documents including business cards, IDs, luggage tags, index cards, photos, letters, legal documents, signs, small posters, calendars and menus.

2. How Strong Will The Lamination Film Need To Be?

3 mil - Light Duty

3 Mil pouch

For occasional handling, filing, or posting of menus, photos or other items where pouch flexibility is
acceptable. Not available for card size documents.

Three mil pouches will enhance and protect your sheet size documents are remain very flexible.

3 mil pouches consist of 2 sheets of 3 mil laminate film for a total of 6 mils.

5 mil - Standard

5 Mil pouch

For moderate handling, filing or posting of items such
as photos, legal files, bookmarks, temporary id cards, or recipe cards.

Five mil pouches are the perfect thickness for a quality yet economical lamination.

5 mil pouches consist of 2 sheets of 5 mil laminate film for a total of 10 mils.

7 mil - Heavy Duty

7 Mil pouch

For daily handling or posting of items such as sales material, calendars, luggage and ID tags.

Seven mil pouches provide a rigid laminated item and are great for all size card and sheet size documents.

7 mil pouches consist of 2 sheets of 7 mil laminate film for a total of 14 mils.

10 mil - Extra Heavy Duty

10 Mil pouch

For intensive daily handling or usage of items such as reference documents, displays, posters, signs, id badges, etc.

Ten mil pouches provide the best document protection available. Ideal for items that may be handled a lot such as id badges or those exposed to the elements such as menus and signs.

10 mil pouches consist of 2 sheets of 10 mil laminate film for a total of 20 mils.
