    27 inch Hot Roll Laminator Machine

    Ease of operation is the main feature of the Banner American Easy-Lam thermal roll laminator. The easy to use design makes the operator’s job simpler with features such as:

    Plenty of clearance is allowed for film loading. No more burnt knuckles when loading film while the laminator is hot. Since pressure, speed, and roll tension are preset, this laminating machine requires very little instruction to use.

    The EasyLam offers long term durability. Quickly clears any wrap-arounds. Heat is easily adjustable for different materials.  The 27” width capacity allows you to laminate those items that can’t be accommodated in a conventional 25” machine.

    Easy-Lam is UL and CSA approved.

    Laminating film is made up of two layers which are heat activated and serves as the “glue” to bond the flm to the product being laminated. Once heated, small amounts of the “glue” side can stick to the heat shoes and rollers and must be periodically cleaned from the laminator. Laminating film is available in a variety of different lengths, and thicknesses.

    Care and Cleaning

    In the normal course of operating the Easy-Lam, dirt and adhesive will accumulate on the heat shoes and rubber rollers (Laminating produces static electricity which attracts airborne dust and dirt). Regular inspection and cleaning will assure that this does not become a problem.

    Never use hard, sharp, or abrasive items to clean the heat shoes. The shoes are coated with a non-stick surface that could easily be damaged. Likewise, do not use sharp metallic objects or steel wool to clean the rubber rollers. Any scratches, indentations, or marks left on the rollers will appear on the laminated product.

    To clean the shoes and rollers, use a clean, lint-free cloth. Some suggested solvents are Poly-Off®, rubbing alcohol (isopropyl), fingernail polish remover (with acetone), and Goof-Off® spray.
